Oven cook: 200ºC; Fan 180ºC; Gas 6; 20 mins. per 0.5kg plus 20 mins.
Preheat oven. Remove packaging, place in a roasting tin and cook in the centre of the oven for the cooking times shown on front of pack. Half way through the cooking time baste the chicken with any cooking juices, cover with foil and return to the oven. Actual weight may vary, re-weigh and follow guidelines. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before carving.

Food Safety
Store raw chicken covered at the bottom of the fridge. Do not wash. After disposal of packaging, always wash work surfaces, equipment and hands before and after preparing food. Check the thickest part of the chicken, if the juices run clear it should be cooked thoroughly.
Freeze as soon as possible and always within the use by date. Use within 3 months. Defrost thoroughly in a fridge before cooking and use immediately.
Keep on the bottom shelf of the fridge, cook and eat within 24 hours of opening. Don't exceed the use by date.
