Five winners will be selected at random from all entries and each will receive £100 to spend in-store the sixth winner will receive a runner-up prize of a Central Co-op Irresistible hamper (worth £45). The prize drawer is open to Central Co-op Members only. Central Co-op colleagues are excluded from this competition. Competition closes at 4pm on 20th December 2024. The winning entrants will be notified within 1 day of the competition closing. The prize will be loaded onto the winner's account within 5 days of acceptance. If the prize is not claimed within 1 days, Central Co-op reserves the right to contact an alternative winner. Recording and usage: We will pre-record the online memorial service, which will include any photos and tribute notes that you share with us via Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram or email. To allow us to do so (and to allow us to use the resulting images or video footage), we may be legally required to confirm your age and to obtain your consent (or, if relevant, the consent of your parent or legal guardian). We also need to ensure that we own the rights in resulting images, audio, video or other recordings so that we can freely edit, copy, use and publish them without needing to contact you again. We will only use the images, audio, video or other recordings for the “Permitted Purposes” set out below. Viewers of the service that will be made available on 15th October (or shortly beforehand) should be aware that there will be the inclusion of images of babies and children who have died. We will provide a content notification prior to the segment featuring these images, but we cannot accept liability for distress or trauma resulting from the viewers’ decision to watch the service beyond the content notification that guides viewers on the content that will follow the notification. If your disposition would be impacted by watching the online memorial service, please consider not viewing the content.
By participating in the online memorial service, you confirm that:
a) You are over 18 years of age (or, if relevant, you are the parent or legal guardian of a participant who was under 18 years of age (your “Child”))
b) You consent and authorise Central England Co-operative to do any of the following:
• Film, record, photograph or otherwise capture your (or, if relevant, your family’s) contribution to the online memorial service (in each case, a “Recording”);
• Use any or all Recordings at any time in the future (and for any duration) for Central England Co-operative’s internal business purposes (together the “Permitted Purposes”);
• Publish or display any or all Recordings in or on any Central England Co-operative internal communications and on our YouTube recording of the online memorial service (in each case a “Publication”)
• Identify you (or, if relevant, your Child) by referring to name, message, and/or photographs (but not contact details) in any Recording or related Publication; and
• Store the Recordings (in physical and/or electronic form). Recordings may be stored on servers located outside of the European Economic Area; and
c) If you own (or, if relevant, your family owns) any copyright in the Recordings, you (and, if relevant, your family) automatically transfer all ownership of such copyright to Central England Co-operative and agree that Central England Co-operative is under no obligation to identify you (or, if relevant, your family) as a contributor to, or participant in, the Recordings. Accordingly, you agree to waive any “moral rights” that you (or, if relevant, your family) may have in relation to the Recordings. Central Co-op and Central Co-op Funeral are trading names of Central England Co-operative Limited.

Call and Collect
1. When calling our Membership team, we’ll need to take some personal details from you, including your name, telephone number and payment card details. We will never write your card details down, and we will not record the call when we call you for payment. Our full Privacy Notice is available on our website
2. Prices charged for each item will be the same as the price charged in store on the day the item is picked
3. There is no additional charge for using this service
4. Whilst there is no minimum order value when using this service, we would ask that you place an order with us no more than once a week, so that we can help as many Members as possible
5. We will confirm the total cost of your order when we call you back for payment – if you do not wish to accept an item in the order, you can ask for it to be removed, and you will receive a refund for the item (please note that it will still show on the receipt issued from the store, as the refund will be issued separately)
6. We will pick items with the longest available shelf life when assembling your order
7. Where a specific item you have asked for is not in stock, we substitute it with an alternative brand or pack size, subject to availability, unless you have asked us not to
8. As this service is for Members only you will be asked for your Membership card number when placing your initial order – this will also enable us to add your dividend points to your card when processing payment
9. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accept vouchers, or enable you to use your dividend points when processing your payment. However you will still be allocated your Membership points
10. A strict Social Distancing Policy applies in our stores – when coming to collect your order, please make yourself known to a Member of the store team who can bring your order to you
11. You, or your nominated representative, will need to bring your collection number into store when collecting the order – we reserve the right to refuse collection if the collection number is not quoted

Members reward for a single or mirror will
Members receive a £10 reward on your Membership card when purchasing a single will and a £15 reward on your Membership card when purchasing a mirror will, when calling 0330 0417924 or visiting https://www.co-oplegalservices.co.uk/partners/central-co-op-estate-planning/ to make your purchase.
The reward can take up to 3 months to be added to a Membership card. Member rewards are not available when contacting Co-op Legal Services directly through their website or through their direct contact telephone number. We reserve the right to change or withdraw the benefit at any time.
Central Co-op Funeral Plans
Central Co-op Members will get £125 added to their Membership card when they buy any funeral plan from Central Co-op Funeral Plans Ltd, when a valid Central Co-op Membership card is shown at the point of sale. Valid only for Central Co-op Members. Only one reward can be applied per funeral plan and can’t be exchanged for cash. Reward will be applied once the 45-day cancellation period ends, or when the first direct debit payment is made, and can take up to 3 months to be added to their card. If the plan is cancelled within the 45-day cancellation period, the reward will not be applied.

Member-exclusive Funeral benefits
Central Co-op Members can choose one item per funeral arrangement from a floral sheaf, floral heart, unvarnished solid oak ashes casket, coffin engraving and masonry lettering. You can’t exchange for cash or choose alternative products. You can choose engraving on the following coffins : Stanford, Dovedale, Rockingham, Richmond, Kensington, Natural Wood, Regency, Painted. Free masonry lettering up to 100 characters, on masonry stones purchased through Central Co-op Memorials and available on renovations and refixing. If you want any extra characters, we’ll charge £2.99 per character from £2.99. Images are for illustrative purposes only - actual product may vary.
Funeral arrangements
Members who arrange a funeral with Central Co-op funeral will receive £125 on their Membership card. Valid only for Central Co-op Members. Only one reward can be applied per funeral arrangement and can’t be exchanged for cash. Reward will be applied once the invoice is fully paid and can take up to 3 months to be added to your card.
Your Co-op Energy Member reward
If a Central Co-op Member switches to a fuel tariff from 'Your Co-op Energy', they’ll receive a Member reward loaded onto their Central Co-op Membership card. To qualify, they must follow the link provided and enter their Central Co-op Membership number when completing their sign-up details. The Central Co-op Member will receive their reward within 3 months.
Central Co-op reward only applies to new customers switching online to ‘Your Co-op Energy’. Offer excludes current Octopus customers. Central Co-op receive a £25 referral fee from Midcounties Co-operative, a proportion of which we use to cover our administration costs, the rest is then shared with Central Co-op Members. Occasionally, we might offer higher Member rewards. Your switch date needs to be within the promotional dates to be eligible for the higher reward amount.
Free Costa Express drink
We are randomly selecting Members to receive this reward through an additional till receipt issued at point of purchase. This offer can be redeemed against any drink from a Costa Express machine in any Central Co-op store and is not valid for redemption against any drink from Insomnia machines or Insomnia coffee shops. Only one voucher can be redeemed in a single transaction and must be surrendered upon redemption. This voucher cannot be exchanged for cash. 10.Prizes will be sent by no later than 10th December 2024.
10. Starting from the date the reply is sent from the Promoter, the winner will have 7 days to respond to the reply on their post notifying them that they have won. If no response is received by the winner within this 7 day period, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be selected at random on the same terms as the previous winner. The new winner will have 7 days to respond to the reply on their post notifying them that they have won.
11. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. No responsibility can be accepted for any technical failures of any kind or any unauthorised intervention in any part of the entry process, nor for any technical or human error, which may occur in the administration of the prize draw or the processing of entries.
12. In the event of any dispute regarding the competition, the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.
13. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party other than is absolutely necessary so as to fulfil the competition without the individual’s prior consent.
14. By entering this competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete.
15. Any information submitted by you must be personal to and relate specifically to you. You hereby warrant that the information which you submit and/or distribute will not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or any other rights of any third party, and will not contain anything which is defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening. 16. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove and disqualify any entry that does not adhere to these terms and conditions.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw this promotion if circumstances arise which are beyond its control.
18. The winner may be asked to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this prize draw. By entering this prize draw you hereby assign to the Promoter, and waive your moral rights in, the complete copyright and all other intellectual property rights whatsoever in your entry and in any promotional and advertising material and similar which arises out of or is in connection with this prize draw.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the operation of competition or to be acting in violation of these terms and conditions or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person deliberately to undermine the legitimate operation of the prize draw may be a violation of criminal and civil law and, should such an attempt be made, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Promoter’s failure to enforce any of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
20. Except where prohibited, entrants agree that: (1) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this prize draw, but in no event legal fees; and (2) under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages otherwise increased. Subject to clause 21, and subject to any liability arising as a result of its fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, the Promoter’s liability for claims related to this promotion is limited to a maximum of three thousand pounds.
