Derby County star Colin Kazim-Richards celebrated scoring and helping his team to a much-needed win at the weekend in the best way possible – by stopping off at his local Co-op for some vital food and essentials.
The goalscoring star was all smiles on Saturday after his goal saw the Rams claim a 1-0 win against Queens Park Rangers in the Championship.
After travelling back from London, the 34-year-old donned a mask and nipped into the Central England Co-op, in Burton Road, Littleover, to pick up everything he need to recover and celebrate the important victory.
Store manager Tony Willis snapped a socially distanced picture of him outside the store.
Elaine Dean, Society Vice-President and lifelong Rams fan, said: “What else would you do after netting the winning goal for Derby? Of course you would visit your local Central England Co-op!”
The footballer has now scored four goals for the Rams since joining in the summer. He has played for a wide range of clubs including Celtic, Sheffield United and Turkish giants Fenerbache and Galatasaray.
