Central Co-op launches new financial wellbeing benefit

Central Co-op is thrilled to announce a new partnership with MHR to launch Wagestream, an innovative financial wellbeing benefit, for all colleagues starting today, 29th July 2024.

Earlier this year, Central Co-op introduced the “We’ve got you” wellbeing campaign, aimed at making a significant impact on its colleagues' overall wellbeing. The introduction of iTrent Financial Wellbeing, powered by Wagestream, is the next pivotal step in this campaign. The new benefit empowers colleagues by giving them access to their earnings between paydays, as well as offering financial coaching and providing a new way to save.

Key features of the benefit include:

• Colleagues can access up to 50% of their earned pay at any time between paydays
• Professional financial guidance to help manage personal finances effectively
• A competitive interest rate for saving money
• Tools to monitor financial health and progress
• Easily check eligibility for various benefits to support colleagues and their families

Central Co-op is hosting webinars for managers and colleagues to provide detailed insights into how iTrent Financial Wellbeing works. The financial platform will be hosted on the Society’s “Difference Maker Hub”, a centralised platform offering a wealth of resources, recognition and rewards, including career development tools, a recognition wall and exclusive discounts at hundreds of retailers.
